02
What it is
A carousel presents a subset of a sequence in a fixed viewport. Manual next and previous controls, a position indicator, and user-controlled motion make the hidden content discoverable.
When to use it
Use for a compact, finite set of featured items.
Know the difference
The carousel holds the slides; carousel navigation describes the controls that change them.

Use the native platform presentation and terminology; adapt density and interaction to touch, pointer, remote, or spatial input rather than copying a phone-sized view.
Web · Android · Windows · Linux · Android TV
Use semantic content structures on the web. Touch, pointer, and remote layouts need different target spacing even when the same information is shown.
