What it is
A supporting panel for viewing or editing properties of the selected object. Group editable properties such as position, appearance, or metadata and update them when selection changes.
When to use it
Use it beside an editor or canvas when adjustments should remain close at hand.
Know the difference
An inspector is about the selected object; a sidebar primarily navigates between objects.
